Lucid Dream by Atul Mohite

Rating:3/5 

my thoughts:
Our protagonist is Suraj. Just like any other teenagers he has big dreams too. He wants to live a life devoted to technology. But our hopes and desires from life keep changing. He discovers that he wants to become an author. This follows a series events which changes his life.

I found this story very relate able. I am also on the stage of my life where I have to decide which profession I have to pursue. It was a heartwarming story.

The writing style was good ,but it was very simple. I wish if it was more descriptive. I found some characters unlikeable, I wish if the character develop was better. Also the pacing was a little off, sometimes it was really fast but some scenes were really slow. This was indeed a memorable read. I will surely retread this. The tilte is perfect. Also the cover is really pretty

The characters are well drawn out and I love how the develop through the story. This book is very relevant to today’s time. The author has carefully crafted the plot for the series. It has so many plot twists and some even shock me. The writing is very fine and the author has a rich vocabulary. The author has a vivid imagination. Also it’s fast paced which will keep you hooked till the end. I think book 1 was the best. Each book is unique in it’s own and are very special. The books also shows how Alice deals with different stages of her life.  The cover is really well done and goes well with the book. The title is very intriguing and according to the content. If you are a fantasy lover than this is a must read.

The title intrigued me to pick the book. This book is the story of Avni, who was allegedly raped by Rahul, heir to big business Empire. He was given a clear chit by the court. But after deep investigation he was found guilty. After he got exposed he became furious and started playing the victim card and  wrath on the media. Read the book to find out what happens next.

First of all I loved the character of Avni, her character changes a lot through out the book. She is fierce and stand up for herself. Her character has been well sketched out. I was able to connect with her in many ways. I felt her pain.
The narration is captivating and will keep you guessing what happens next. The scenes are so well described that it feels you are there with the characters. The writing style is flowing and it’s easy to get into the book. This was a memorable read and I will keep thinking about this for a long time. There were some quotes in the book, which I really liked. This book also made me question my morals about feminism too. The book gets a little slow paced towards the end and some scenes could have been cut. The title is very appropriate. The cover art is wonderful. I highly recommend this.

My Happily Ever After-review

Rating:5 stars

It is a story of love and passion. Our main characters are Aditi and Keshav.
It is written in a beautiful manner the dialouges were really good. The book deals with themes such as parents forcing their kids into engineering unknowingly but without leaving any other choice and how knowledge  is important.
The characters are really good and relatable. .It seems so real that you will start feeling yourself in place of Keshav and Aditi. One scene was so emotional that it made me cry.
The title suits the story very well. I think the cover could have been more creative.
This book was a rideo of emotions and love ;definitely read it.

Knots is a collection of poems depicting various human emotions – love, pain, heartbreak, fantasia, lost, healing, darkness. I really enjoyed reading this book, some poems touched my heart, the words are powerful . Though I finished it in one sitting, it had a lot of impact on me. Though this the author’s debut book but it she can express her feelings and leave the impact on the reader she wants.  Some of the poetry in this collection are dark and can be a trigger to few of the readers so keep that in mind when you are reading this. She also voices out the social problems and what the women goes through in our society. I definitely recommend it, it’s a treat for poetry lovers. I wish good luck to the author for her future work.
